We’re here to help
For many people, the process of becoming a special guardian can be a stressful time for everyone involved. At Buckinghamshire Council, we have an experienced team that can support you. We work with you throughout the assessment process to make sure that the child's needs and welfare are at the centre of every decision.
It’s okay to ask questions
There is a lot to take in and you are going to have questions. Nobody expects you to know everything at this stage. You will be able to talk openly to a member of our team, who is there to make sure you feel comfortable and understand what is happening throughout the entire process. So please ask them questions. It's their job to help you.
